Programs that prevent traumatic events such as sexual assault, substance abuse, and other campus dangers contribute positively to the campus environment, increase student satisfaction and retention, and reduce administrative and reputational problems that can negatively impact an institution. Our student safety programs were developed for and approved by the Virginia Board of Education and based on empirical studies demonstrating a 2/3 reduction in attempted rape and a 1/2 reduction in rape as compared to control groups at the same institutions. After having trained thousands of students and their parents first hand, we turned our attention to training the trainer, and have trained countless educators how to teach our student safety programs.
